BlueScope Construction was the general contractor for a shopping mall showcasing a new prototype Super K retail facility and a Builder Square with nursery. The Super K facility was a hypermarket concept, a retail store combining a grocery store with a department store. In addition to grocery, dry goods and automotive, several leased space services finished out front of the store, along with a food court.

The facility featured full height masonry walls with EIFS and concrete pre-cast walls and a single ply ballasted roof. The design of the store included a full kitchen, bakery and refrigeration areas. The concept was an exposed structure with a high finish not customary to the traditional aesthetic for the retailer.

The Builder Square facility was a standalone anchor building with a standard interior finish. Site work was done to support other retail partners at the location, including a restaurant, a large electronics retailer and a pad area for another development.
