Construct on a fast track schedule, a three-story building next to the Pentagon that would match the look of the historic structure and be flexible enough to be used as offices during the Pentagon renovation period, but could be converted to a different use after the renovation was complete.

The Federal Facilities Division (FFD) are in charge of the maintenance and remodeling of the Pentagon and needed quarters at the site which could be used for a different purpose after the renovations. The facilties needed to be able to handle floor loads of u to 150 pounds per square foot. The FFD had to move into the building in 22 weeks. In addition, the construction site was limited to 100' x 110' and on side of the building would only be eight feet from the Pentagon. Utilizing the GSA Federal Supply Schedule to order the building, the FFD was able to get the project at best value and completed on schedule.
