PROJECT DETAILS

MARKET: Public Sector, Warehouse & Distribution
CLIENT: National Park Service, Denver, CO
END USE: Facility Maintenance Structure
SIZE: 4,064 Sq. Ft.
LOCATION: Fort Laramie, WY

Design and build a facility maintenance structure for the restoration and maintenance of the existing buildings and infrastructure within the historic site.

Original procurement for this facility consisted solely of the building shell materials and erection. This project grew into a full design-build scope including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, site concrete, water filtration system, septic system, electrical service, data and communication service. BlueScope Construction worked closely with the NPS facility management team and the NPS design team to provide a cost effective, fully functional solution to their needs.

The exterior of the new building was clad with Shadowall® wall system, and a VSR™ roof system. The benefit of this facility allowed operations to increase productivity for year-round maintenance of equipment, shop activities and administrative duties.

The Park Service required a larger, more modern facility, specifically designed for their needs. They had been working out of a smaller, inadequate space for nearly four decades. Butler provided the perfect economical and attractive solution in a timely manner, which allowed maintenance to optimize their day-to-day productivity.
