The US Army needed a new Physical Fitness Center at the west end of the base to meet the needs of its growing base population. The scope of work included large circular translucent openings designed for blast resistance, an elevated mechanical mezzanine, suspended jogging track with access stairs, handrails and guardrails, rock climbing structures, large open clearspan gymnasium, weight training and aerobics areas and a signature balloon framed entrance parapet.
